• Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with a silicone mat or parchment paper for easy cleanup.
• Roll Out the Pastry: Roll out the thawed puff pastry sheets on a lightly floured surface to smooth out any creases. (Put one puff pastry aside)
• Start with one puff pastry and spread a thin layer of pizza sauce over the entire surface of the pastry.
• Add cheese squares to cover the entire surface of the pastry.
• Grab the other puff pastry and place it directly over the pizza-layered pastry.
• With a pizza cutter or knife, cut 10-12 strips. Fold the puff pastry to make the Christmas tree shape.
• Add the star skewer through the middle to hold its shape.
• Place the puff pastry trees on a silicone mat or parchment paper. Add spaces between them.
• In a small bowl, mix melted butter and pizza seasoning and brush it over the entire surface of the puff pastry trees.
• Bake for 12-18 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly.
• Allow the Pizza Puff Pastry Christmas Tree to cool for a few minutes before serving. Serve it up on a festive platter and pizza sauce.

If using shredded cheese, Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella evenly over the sauce. Feel free to experiment with different cheese blends for added flavor.
