Who remembers the viral Cinnamon Roll Hack? We're about to take this trend to a new level, giving it an apple-inspired twist to make your taste buds dance.
Prep Time 10 minutes mins
Cook Time 33 minutes mins
Course Appetizer, Dessert
Cuisine American
- 1 can pre-made cinnamon roll dough (5 pieces or more)
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 2 small apples (peeled and sliced)
- 2-3 tbsp brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- a pinch of nutmeg
Preheat your oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C) while preparing the ingredients.
Peel and prep the apple, then add it to a bowl with brown sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg (set aside).
Pop open the can of cinnamon roll dough and separate the rolls. Place them in a baking dish and add the apple mixture, covering every inch of that sweet dough.
Pour the heavy cream on top of the mixture and bake those beauties in the oven for about 27-33 minutes or until golden brown and smelling like fall heaven.
The cinnamon rolls will puff up and be soft in texture. The rolls should absorb the creamy cream.
Once out of the oven, give them a slight icing drizzle for that extra sweetness. Snap a pic for the gram and enjoy!
