Agua de sandia

Agua de Sandia is a delicious and healthy way to add to your Cinco and cool down on a hot day. It is also a great way to get your daily dose of fruits.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups watermelon (rind and seeds removed, cut into chunks
  • 1/2 cups strawberries
  • 1 ripe kiwi
  • lime wedge (optional for garnish)

You can adjust the sugar content; taste the juice before adding sugar (up to 2 tbsp if needed). I didn't add any to mine.

Too sweet? Add water if needed

Instructions
 

  • In a blender, combine the watermelon, strawberries, and kiwi. Blend until smooth.
  • Strain the mixture into a pitcher.
  • Taste and add sugar if needed.
  • Chill the agua de Sandia in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
  • Serve over ice, garnished with lime wedges if desired. Enjoy!
